How do I book a car with HTCARZ?
You can book a car through multiple ways:

Provide your desired car model, pickup date/time, and location to complete the booking.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
For self-drive rentals, you need to provide:
- Valid Driving License (Original)
- Aadhar Card or Passport (Proof of Identity)
- Passport size photographs (2 copies)
- Mobile number and email address
For driver-assisted rentals, only ID proof is required.
What is the minimum age requirement to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years. Drivers aged 21-25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge. Some premium vehicles may have higher age requirements.
Payment & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash (at office)
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm)
- Debit/Credit Cards
- Net Banking
- Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS)
Is there a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pickup. The deposit amount varies based on the car category:
- Hatchback: ₹5,000 - ₹10,000
- Sedan: ₹10,000 - ₹15,000
- SUV: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000
The deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle in good condition.
Are there any hidden charges?
No, we believe in transparent pricing. All charges including base rental, insurance, and applicable taxes are clearly mentioned in your booking confirmation. Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra kilometers driven
- Fuel consumption (if not returned with same fuel level)
- Late return fees
- Damage repairs (if applicable)
Vehicle Usage
What is included in the rental price?
Our rental price includes:
- Basic Comprehensive Insurance
- 24/7 Roadside Assistance
- Regular vehicle maintenance
- All applicable government taxes
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, you can extend your rental period. Please contact us at least 2 hours before your scheduled return time to request an extension. Extension is subject to vehicle availability and may involve additional charges.
What happens if the car breaks down?
In case of any mechanical issue or breakdown:
- Contact our 24/7 support hotline immediately
- We will arrange a replacement vehicle at no additional cost
- If repair is possible on-site, we will send assistance
Our 24/7 roadside assistance is included in your rental.
Can I take the car to other states?
Yes, inter-state travel is allowed. However, please inform us in advance about your travel plans. Additional interstate permits and charges may apply depending on the destination.
Cancellation & Refunds
What is your cancellation policy?
- 48+ hours before pickup: Full refund (100%)
- 24-48 hours before pickup: 75% refund
- 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
- Less than 12 hours: No refund

How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. The time may vary based on your payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 7-10 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Cash: 3-5 business days
